The last male northern Rhinoceros goes home

Image
"The last male northern white rhino has died, leaving only two females to save the species from total extinction. Sudan, the “gentle giant” who lived on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, was put down on Monday after the pain from a degenerative illness became too great. He is survived only by his daughter and granddaughter. In order to try to preserve the species, genetic material was collected from Sudan before he was euthanised and the conservation park hopes that, through “advanced cellular technologies” and IVF, his death will not signal the end of the species altogether." Xi Jumping to Rule for life in China new constitution.

Image
The Chinese parliament on Sunday terminate presidential term limits, in the most populous country in the world to give the Chinese President,Xi Jinping a total authority to transform the country into an economic and military superpower. The move reverses the era of "collective" leadership and orderly succession that was promoted by late paramount leader Deng Xiaoping to ensure stability following the turbulent one-man rule of Communist China's founder Mao Zedong. The historic constitutional amendment breezed through the rubber-stamp parliament with 2,958 in favour, two against and three abstentions despite an unusual bout of online criticism that censors have scrambled to extinguish.

Southeasterners dreams of becoming President in the future threatened

Image
Two Southwesterners are already showing interest in the presidential race for 2019 general election , one way or the other they are gaining momentum and followers nationwide wide, although they stand a slim chance against President Muhammadu Buhari, but by 2023 Presidential election, they ll have a better chance to compete with any candidate from any part of the country, no candidate had shown interest especially from the Southeast nor SouthSouth , the fact that APC and PDP had zone their presidency to the region in 2023 does not mean, it ll be an automatic ticket to victory, Politics is not business as usual , u ve to spend and expect nothing in return sometimes, if the Igbo are not careful their hope of producing President in the nearest future might be jeopardize, coz a ticket of Fela Durotoye or Omoyele sowore with a reputable running mate from North ll be a team to beat comes in 2023 Presidential election, may the almighty spare our lives till then.
